#LinkedInLocal is a meetup concept in over 600 cities world wide. It was created with the purpose to unite people from all walks of life, in one facilitated event, to genuinely get to know the humans behind the LinkedIn profiles, and connect beyond the job titles, business cards and company names. These events are curated to bring our tribes together and remind ourselves why it's important to connect out of the digital world. How our job titles, degrees and backgrounds are just a fraction of who we are and that we have the capacity to be more and do more when surrounded by the right people.

Join us on Wednesday, August, 21st on the Outdoor Terrace at the Hyatt Regency Hotel for our next #LinkedInLocalBmore event!

This month we will host a very special guest, Lawrence Gilliard, Jr., a character actor who has appeared in films, television series, and theater. He portrayed D'Angelo Barksdale on the HBO drama series, The Wire, a role which earned him critical acclaim. He is also known for his role as Bob Stookey in the AMC horror drama, The Walking Dead. Hear from Lawrence as he shares his own personal journey of experiences in Baltimore, new projects he is involved with, and of course life in la la land.
